In early 20th century, the building construction in Tallinn continued in the Historicist style, at the same time also the fashionable Jugendstil reached the city. Only a few buildings in or similar to Jugenstil were constructed in Tallinn Old Town. However, the given style came to have more prominent influence on the interior decoration of the local homes.
